| You may feel a bit groggy, light-headed or sore after the surgery. Each patient responds differently. It is normal for you to experience mild pain over the next few days following the surgery.
Instructions will be given to you before leaving the Center regarding your activity and medication. Please follows these instructions carefully, and contact Doctor Baumgartner if you have any questions.
Thoracoscopic sympathectomy allows rapid recovery. Most patients return to full activity within a week following the surgery. Scarring is minimal since the incisions to the armpits are small. |
